Melissa Gorman, MSN, RN, NPD-BC, CCRN-K, is the clinical education coordinator at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Boston. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing and Master of Science in nursing degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. Melissa has been at the Boston Shriners Hospital since 2007 and has extensive experience in pediatric nursing and clinical education. Previously, Melissa practiced in the pediatric ICU and pediatric emergency settings. She holds certifications in nursing professional development, pediatric critical care nursing (CCRN) and as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Melissa’s professional interests include emergency response, simulation, technology and communication training.
