Steven L. Moran, M.D.

Steven L. Moran, M.D., is a plastic surgeon specializing in pediatric upper extremity conditions at Mayo Clinic and Shriners Hospitals for Children — Twin Cities. He is double board certified in plastic surgery and orthopaedic surgery with a sub-specialty in the hand. He received an undergraduate degree from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts and earned a medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester New York. Dr. Moran completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center, as well as a residency in plastic surgery. He completed a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Areas of special interest to Dr. Moran are pediatric and congenital hand conditions, reconstructive microsurgery and wrist and hand arthritis.

Dr. Moran is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Society of Plastic Surgery, American Association of Plastic Surgeons, American Association of Hand Surgery, World Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery; and a founding member of the American Society for Reconstructive Transplantation and The Plastic Surgery Research Council.
