Learning objectives – Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the “whole child” approach to treatment of the CP patient
  • Describe the GMFCS and discuss typical multidisciplinary approaches to each level
  • List the most common orthoses used in the treatment of pediatric CP and discuss treatment goals for these
  • Discuss common PT interventions used for pediatric patients with a variety of subtypes of CP
  • Discuss common OT interventions used for pediatric patients with a variety of subtypes of CP
