Sports injuries

We provide same-day or next-day appointments for children with sports injuries. Most general orthopaedists do not specialize in pediatric injury care, which is why we recommend all children see a pediatric orthopaedic specialist. At Shriners Children's Twin Cities, we specialize in kid's bones, joints and muscles, and understand the effects of injuries to growing bones and soft tissues. We are experienced with easing anxiety and move at a pace that is comfortable and reassuring for all members of the family. On-site physical and occupational therapy are available for all patients at our clinic.

Shriners Children's Twin Cities does not have an emergency department. Injuries should first be stabilized at an emergency room, urgent care facility or by your primary doctor, and then an appointment should be scheduled at the our clinic. To schedule an appointment, call 612-269-7021.
