Alyssa Ponce, MSW, LCSW, ACM-SW

Alyssa Ponce, MSW, LCSW, ACM-SW, is a licensed clinical social worker at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Salt Lake City.  She is also an accredited case manager and is fluent in Spanish.

She received her undergraduate degrees in psychology and sociology from Southern Utah University and completed her master’s in social work at Brigham Young University.  Alyssa oversees care for our patients from Northern Mexico and our international patients from other Spanish-speaking countries.  She manages the Coordinated Care Stay Program as well as our outreach clinics in Denver, Phoenix and El Paso.  She also participates in our semiannual Un-Limb-ited camps for teen amputees.

What Alyssa loves about working at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Salt Lake City is creating long-term relationships with patients and families, and being able to watch all of the amazing things the patients achieve!

Alyssa loves her family, her dogs, music, the outdoors and traveling the world.
