Kelly Brooks, CPO, is a certified prosthetist/orthotist at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Salt Lake City. Certified since 2010, Kelly began her career with the Veterans Administration, and has worked at clinics in Seattle, Washington, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. She earned her Bachelor of Science in exercise and sports science from the University of Utah, and went on to the Newington Certificate Program for Orthotics and Prosthetics in Newington, Connecticut.

When Kelly was first getting into the prosthetics and orthotics field in 2006, she volunteered at Pediatric Orthotic and Prosthetic Services (POPS) – West, LLC, at the Salt Lake City Shriners Hospital for her clinical hours! What makes Kelly uniquely qualified at our POPS location is that she is also a trained physician assistant. This gives her a well-rounded and unique medical perspective that benefits our patients and families.

Originally from Park City, Kelly takes full advantage of all the outdoor experiences that Utah has to offer. An avid snowboarder, you can find Kelly on the slopes, leading a climb on a local crag, or walking her dog up in the mountains.
