Kelly Gibbons, RN, MSN, CNOR

Kelly Gibbons, RN, MSN, CNOR, is the staff development and patient family advisory council coordinator at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Salt Lake City. She has been with the Salt Lake City Shriners Hospital since 2015.

Kelly’s almost 20 years’ experience as a registered nurse includes experience in women’s health and all aspects of maternity, labor and delivery, and dermatology. The bulk of her career has been in the perioperative field. She has worked in all aspects of the operating room – everything from plastic surgery to robotics – but her true love has been working in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Shriners Hospitals for Children. She is board certified in perioperative nursing (CNOR) and sits on the local board of AORN of Northern Utah. Kelly received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Binghamton University and her Masters of Nursing - Leadership and Management from Western Governors University. She loves to help educate staff and to invite patients and families to have a seat at the table at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Salt Lake City. She looks forward to growing the Patient Family Advisory council.

Outside of work, Kelly loves all the things Utah has to offer, including mountain biking, camping, and hiking with her husband and two children!
