Laura Erickson, CPO, MPO

Laura Erickson, MPO, CPO, is an ABC-certified prosthetist and orthotist at Pediatric Orthotic and Prosthetic Services (POPS) – West, LLC, at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Salt Lake City. She completed her master’s in prosthetics and orthotics at the University of Texas Southwestern in 2013, and residency at the Hanger Clinic in Tucson, Arizona, where she stayed and worked as a CPO for five years. She joined the team at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Salt Lake City in 2019.

Laura is originally from North Dakota, but spent some time in Utah before graduate school working at the National Ability Center, where she worked with the teen amputee camp hosted by Shriners Hospitals for Children — Salt Lake City, Camp Un-Limb-ited. She enjoys all aspects of pediatric care and is excited to join the POPS family at the Salt Lake City Shriners Hospital.

In her free time, you might find Laura trail running along the Wasatch Front, competing in mountain bike races or spending time with her dog, Kai.
