Susana Kinikini, D.N.P., APRN, FNP-C

Susana Kinikini, D.N.P., APRN, FNP-C, is a nurse practitioner at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Salt Lake City. She has been with Shriners Hospitals since 1989. She earned her Family Nurse Practicioner Certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2003.

Kinikini earned a nursing degree from University of Hawaii in 1989. She earned her master's degree as a family nurse practitioner from the University of Utah in 2002 and earned her doctorate degree in 2019.

Kinikini specializes in adult and pediatric primary care, osteogenesis imperfecta, hip/spine ultrasounds, wound care and inpatient pre- and post-operative pediatric orthopaedics.

She loves to travel and watch movies, enjoys the great outdoors, loves the beach and ocean and especially loves spending time with family and her growing brood of grandkids. She loves Shriners Hospitals for Children and being part of its incredible mission. 

Being able to watch children adjust to their new prosthetic, learn to control an electric wheelchair without arms, notice the improved change to their gait/posture/physical abilities, ride a new tricycle and happily participate in hospital sponsored activities; these are priceless to Kinikini!
