Elizabeth Starzyk, RN, BSN, CCM

Elizabeth Starzyk, RN, BSN, CCM, is the director of surgical services at Shriners Hospitals for Children — Springfield, where she works with surgical patients and families with medically complex children. She started her career at the Springfield Shriners Hospital in 2005, where she worked in the operating room.

Elizabeth graduated in 1997 from Elms College with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. Previous nursing experience includes: hemodialysis, cardiology, pediatric and adult infusion/chemotherapy, conscious sedation procedures, recovery room (PACU) and cardiac intensive care. She is certified to insert PICC lines and is an active PALS instructor.
