Hospital tours

We welcome visiting Shriners and their families, as well as donors and friends, to tour the public areas of the hospital. We have a host of trained volunteer tour guides, as well as employees, who are more than happy to provide this service.

However, due to space restrictions and the need to protect patient privacy, we cannot offer tours to large groups (larger than 10 people) during the week. We ask that all tours be scheduled in advance and that large groups plan their visits for Saturdays, between 9 a.m. and noon. Tours are by appointment only.

All members of the public touring the hospital are required to sign a form, indicating their understanding of patient privacy rules. No photographs are allowed.

Please understand there may be times, due to staffing issues, hospital events and infection control issues, when we may not be able to accommodate your tour. We will do our best to reschedule your tour for another time.

Tours may be arranged by calling the marketing and communications department at 314-692-6413.

If you are the family of a patient who will be treated at Shriners Hospitals for Children — St. Louis, and would like to arrange a tour prior to your first appointment, please contact the child life department at 314-872-8342, ext. 1155.
