Visiting group program

Shriners Healthcare for Children — Florida allows outside visiting groups to volunteer with patients in the outpatient waiting area. We can take groups with up to five volunteers. You will be required to provide a structured activity (arts and crafts) for the patients and siblings. You may have as few as one child participate or up to 10, so please plan accordingly.

Our patients embody a wide variety of cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds. We ask that you keep this in mind when planning your program and ask that no religious doctrines be promoted during your visit.

If your group would be interested please contact Tara Paustian via email or call 813-972-2250 ext. 7326 to check for availability.
